Well starting Tuesday night Abby acted like she didn't feel good. Then Wednesday I thought she had a cold because everyone else has. She ran a temp all day long gave her tylenol and motrin, then at about 5am Thursday morning her temp got up to 103.4 after not sleeping all night. So, I took her to the dr. yesterday they did a flu test and a strep test. She has the flu and they are sending the throat culture out to see. Abby loves to eat. I really knew she was sick when she hadn't eat or would hardly drink anything for 2 days. So after not sleeping all night Wednesday and took about a 15 minute nap yesterday. She slept for 13 hours last night. She still cried alot in her sleep. So, I know she still doesn't feel good. She has not got down to play for 2 1/2 days. But, she is watching the wiggles right now sitting on her bean bag. I hope she is 100% better really soon.

We are just getting rid of this. The fever popped up in the middle and subsided, but the horrid cough lived on and on ... All I got was a mild cold, so far.

Hopefully Abby will be past the fever soon!

My girls both had colds last week, but nothing too terrible. Hope Abby is feeling better soon. We will add her to our prayer list.

Sorry to hear Abby is sick. Doesn't it just break your heart to hear them cry out in the night knowing they do not feel good. Sabrina sleeps on but the cries keep me awake worrying she might need me.

I came down with the flu after a business trip last week and now my baby is sick with it too so I completely understand your situation. She is currently with Nana being cuddled and loved. Her Papa ( or Popi as she says ) made her turkey / rice soup for lunch.

My Abby has the flu too!! We were supposed to be in Guatemala today to visit our baby boy but my husband and youngest daughter both have the flu, so we had to cancel our trip. I've been depressed all day about it, but at least we're not down there with half our family sick.

Anna has this virus too where she won't eat anything and I have to coax her to take drinks. She woke up with a 102 temp this morning so I hope that's the worst of it. Sorry your babies are sick too.

I'm sorry Abby is sick--didn't you have some tests run on her awhile back? Did those come out okay?

It is frustrating for us to get through the whole cold and flu season and think we beat it..then comes March...every year..our "lucky" month...sounds like she may have the same type of thing as Ana...hope she is feeling much better soon!!

We went through this a few weeks ago along with several other kids from my daughter's school. Same symptoms of fever, tired, not hungry, runny nose, cough. It eventually turned into Bronchitis. So, you might want to be on the lookout for that after 4 or 5 days. Hope everyone's kids are well soon! Its just no fun to be sick! LSMOM
