Kelley, this is just my curiosity, but if you're correct, do you think the mother knows about her daughter's activities and covers for her? And do you think the daughter is young (like a teenager)?

Is our perpetrator an adoptee? Geez, have I read to many cheezy novels?

This thread just brought up some bad memories for me... I feel sick just thinking about this CRAZY lady who plays into people's emotions. She may be sick, but she is obviously intelligent... she figures out just which buttons to push with adoptive parents.
She offered us money too - she got my name from Adoptive Families magazine listing of adoption events. That makes me SICK that I can't even feel safe listing in a magazine life AF because of crazies like her.
Sorry for the "strong" language - but, seriously lady, get a life and leave us alone! We have enough stress throughout the adoption process and don't need to add more from a lunatic who preys on people at a vulnerable time!

I can't believe it. I got an email from "Kem" yesterday..

I was wondering if anybody had heard of our baby's pediatrician and posted on the Big List. She responded back and made it sound like the pediatrician was completely incompetent. So, of course, I began to panic about our baby..

Yes, I think the mother knows and I think she covers for her. When I spoke with the mom, she struck me as being "older" (like 60's maybe?) just from some things she said and some speech patterns.

I don't know whether she's an adoptee or not...interesting question.

She sounds like a winner....I agree with the statement "that she probably went off her meds." You can't even imagine what wanders into the ER after 2am most nights...and we have police! Here she is can play freely! Nobody around to sedate her!

I got an odd PM yesterday and while the person does not sound like one and the same, it just struck me as odd. I would rather not go into detail in public, but it just makes me wonder. Definetly keeping my eyes open.
