Ok...I just got back from my trip last week and my husband really wants to go and meet his daughter. I ran the numbers and received a flight schedule but I am wondering if it is the right thing to go. Of course I want to see my daughter again and I would love to see my husband holding this precious angel but should I wait until we are further into the process? The travel agent said the prices get higher in April so I figured we would leave mid March. I am hoping we get DNA by then. Looking for some advise.

I went at the end of January and am going back in 2 weeks. I don't know if it's the right thing or not, but it sure feels good to know I am going back!

We went twice and would have gone a 3rd time if we could have afforded it. It is nice that we have pictures and video of different stages of her growth. Each trip we learned new things about her.

I visited immediately after DNA and again while in PGN. I recommend as many visits as you can manage/afford. It was worth it to me to see her so young

Went 3x then fostered at the end for 1 month..I went down every 8 weeks...
Around Holy Week/Easter boy do the ticket prices go up....

I am looking at going the end of March, if we are still waiting. We visited in December and this trip I will be by myself

My hubby and I went in January and I went alone in February. If hubby had not been with me either time, I would definately go again with him. Watching my husband fall in love with our little girl was priceless for me!!

i had hoped for 1 visit before pickup.
now with family court dragging its heels, i feel like visiting again.
the 1st visit was so good, so i don't need much convincing.

My daugher came home at 5.5 months old and I visited her 3 times plus pick up. It worked out that I ended up seeing her about every 6 weeks. Believe me, leaving was hard, but I would never trade the memories/photos/video I have of her at the various stages of her life.

I would highly recommend you visit again if at all possible- you won't regret it!

I visited 3 times, plus the pick-up trip. I would have also gone in December if I had known he would not be home until February. We also spent 10 days in Antigua with him before we came home. It really helped as he definitely knows I am his Mommy.

We went as a family (DH, DS, and myself) twice and I went with my Mom once, in addition to two pickup trips. Wouldn't trade any of the trips for anything!

Just wanted to let you all know that I booked the flight tonight. We are going 3/16 - 3/20 We have decided to take Andy with us. He 21 months. A little nervous but I think he is going to have a blast.

We visited Ernie once then pickup...but he came home at 6 1/2 months... This will be my third visit with our little guy. My dh is staying home and having a week off since I am taking Ernie with me!
