Daily Schedule/Routine for your baby?

I'm full of "new mom" questions today, but was wondering if I could call on some of you to help me? I'm trying to get Rayna on a schedule of sorts. Could any of you give me pointers on your schedule (she is 6 months old, if that makes a difference) and perhaps sources where I could get more info on this?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I brought Alistair home at 9 1/2 mos so I don't know how much of this you could use but, here goes!!

6.30 wake up and cuddle time
6.50 diaper change
7.00 breakfast
7.30 playtime
8.30 change into day chothes/new diaper
9.00 playtime
10.0 nap time w/bottle
12.0 lunch / new diaper after nap
1.00 playtime
4.00 nap with bottle
6.00 dinner
7.30 bath time/ massage
8.00 play time quietly
8.30 bedtime with bottle

He would wake up once or twice during the night but only for a few minutes. I found that as soon as I got him on a tight schedule I was much happier and so was he. Since then, I have altered it a bit but for the most part, it's clise to the same. (Minus both napshttp://forums.adoption.com/images/icons/icon9.gif) I do miss those nap times!!) I had some friends come down on me for being so strict with his schedule but with all the change he's had in such a short time, I figured that he needed that kind of routine so that he knew what was coming next.

Good for you for thing of this now!

Shannon

I actually wrote it down so that I would not forget and altered it when I felt it necessary. (Like he wouldn't sleep at a certain time because he really just woke up from another!) Little changes like that.

Marco is 6 months old and here is his schedule (roughly). it does change whenever he feels like changing it.

Wakes up anywhere from 6-7 AM
Has Bottle
naps for about an hour or so at around 9-9:30 AM
Bottle whenever he wakes
Lunch at noon (baby food)
Nap at 1 PM until about 3 PM
Has bottle
Dinner at around 5:30 (baby food)
Last bottle around 7 PM-7:30
Down for the night at around 8 PM. is sleeping through the night.

Of course throughout the day is playtime, bath time, daddy time.

The best book I ever read on the subject of establishing your baby's routine is: On Becoming Baby Wise by Gary Ezzo. He breaks down the feeding, waketime, naptime, sleep time by the baby's age. I also didn't have a clue about how to take care of a baby. His principles really worked for me. Check it out!
