Back from Pickup trip 1 week--posting pics finally!
Wow,
What a week...I'm dizzy from everything that has happened. The trip was amazing and we toured some of the country (sans daughter)...visited Antigua, Lake Aititlan, and Chichicastenanga. Loved the restaurants, the markets, and all the sights. Also, met up w/a friend who is adopting a 3 y.o. boy in Antigua. I absolutely LOVED the B&B we stayed at in Antigua, La Casa Madeleine. I can't believe Rayna is finally home. I'm completely exhausted, but I find myself waking up at night (when she doesn't wake me up first!) just to look at her. She's been on a few outings so far--to the pediatrician, my favorite crepery for brunch, several strolls to the local park, and today to Starbuck's! She's already a coffee snob like her mommy  I've had lots of company this week but tried to space it out to not overwhelm her. She's adjusting amazingly well and now just trying to get her on a schedule. All is very good in our world and I hope those of you who are waiting will be able to experience this kind of joy very soon!
