Refuse Pink Submission?
Just wondering if this has happened to anybody else. I just read on my agencies web board that 3 families, who just happent to have the same attorney as us, were not allowed to be submitted for pink due to a registration problem. Ive, obviously, asked for further details as this could effect us soon, but has this ever happened to anybody else? A registration problem? (Im assumin with the attorney since it involved 3 different families). Just curious!
Thanks, Katy

As I understand it, attorneys have to present paperwork to Window 8 at the Embassy. Because of the backlog, they can only see about 15-17 attorneys per day, and each attorney can only present paperwork for a limited number of cases (I've heard four or five). When my attorney went the first time, there were 130 attorneys in front of her, which meant that it would take 8-10 days to be able to present paperwork. I think pink usually follows submission of paperwork by about 48 hours. Check out Pack Girl's pink waiters' list, which carries average time from PGN and BC to pinks both with and without GCBCs.
Anyone correct me if I got it wrong. Marjorie

Maybe a Power of Attorney registration ... with Birth Mom? After PGN releases case - the Protocolo must be filed ( after Birth Mom signs off) and then BC is requested. I know our attorney was said to have the POA for the birth mom and that sometimes this is rejected but by Civil Registry. I could certainly have my information backwards here but it may raise some questions on your end.
If not this, it surely could be the general backlog and constraints of filing cases at Embassy right now. Again, with our attorney, he was only allowed to submit 4 cases - for the week! It delayed many families in getting PINK. Sadly it is very hard to get straight answers.
