Cool Homestudy agency.

Has anyone ever had a homestudy agency that did all their visits at your house. We're looking at 2 agencies and the one we probably will go with has a woman who works at home and does all her visits at your house. Which is convenient, but we'll have to make sure our house is tidy for more times than one.

Yup!

Our homestudy social worker came from Ohio to visit us in Indiana. She only came once, but we cleaned like mad people for an two weeks before her visit. Not that were dirty, just nervous and obsessive. She was a complete flake and she messed up a million things on our home study. If you are using anyone from Ohio please pm me so I can make sure it isn't this woman!

Yikes! I live in OHio. We are doing our homestudy through our angency though. We are in the middle of doing some remodeling so we are going to have to kick in HIGH gear to get it all done. I can't WAIT to paint the baby's room:-)

Our homestudy was all done in just one meeting, at our house that lasted about 2 or 3 hours.

We too had one visit that lasted about 5 hours. Made it much easier to get it all done in one shot.

We had a foster to adopt home study and it was done all at our house. There were two visits.

For this home study she will be doing it all at our house also.(one time)
Another agency we talked to did two at her office and then would have come to our home one time.
