2nd DNA test
Has anyone had to do the DNA testing a second time? As you may have read, they made a mistake with the DNA test and have to repeat it. It was scheduled for today, but the birth mother couldn't make it. I am worried that this will be really hard for her and am hoping she is able to do it.

2nd DNA test
I had to have the DNA test redone, the first one was "lost" somewhere. The facilitator drove to the birthmom's house and picked her up, to make sure she showed up. She lives a couple hours out of the city, and can't afford transportation. The test did get redone, and we moved onto the next step. It took some extra time, but it did get done. Maybe talk to your agency about what they can do to make sure she shows up next time, she may need assistance. Good luck.

Thinking of you too! I'm sure they will get it redone, but it sure stinks having to worry about "extra" stuff. Hang in there!

We didn't have a problem with the DNA results, but our birthmom did miss her FC interview TWICE! I think it probably is hard for these ladies to make it to the office in GC if they live outside of the city. Plus, they have to miss work ect... If she's already done the FC interview, it shouldn't take much to get the new DNA test.. Hopefully soon!
