Has anyone exited FC lately? Who is still waiting?
I wonder if anyone has exited FC lately? Who is still waiting to get out of FC? I'm still waiting and hoping. I wonder who else is waiting and hoping like I am. Thanks, Karen

Hi Karen,
I'm still right here with you! We both had our SW interview the same week and apparently we're both still STUCK! I was just sitting her thinking about how and what I'm feeling seeing others moving forward. I can honestly say I'm so happy for them!! I just want some movement for the rest us waiters too. Our time will come, hopefully very soon!

We had our DNA testing completed and matched and were told we are in Family Court just after that but, we haven't heard a word about getting out of there or our preapproval yet. I hate not knowing!

Jeanne  11/05 decided to switch countries from Ukraine to Guatemala 11/23/05 accepted referral for beautiful baby girl born Nov. 9th. 12/15/05 dossier to Guatemala 1/15/06 DNA matched and we are in Family Court 1/25/06 embassy receives DNA 2/23-2/27 beautiful visit trip! 3/10/06 contacted senator's office about preapproval. 4/21/06 got PREAPPROVAL! Yippeeeee! 8/18/06 FINALLY IN PGN 8/25/06 ooops....our mistake! NOT in PGN!  9/4/06 Okay! NOW we're IN PGN! 12/19/06 OUT OUT OUT of PGN! Thank you SOOOOOO MUCH!  1/10/07 new birth certificate issued 1/17/07 PINK!!! Appt is 1/23/07 Thank you God!  Finally home in Kentucky! 1/29/07

I am in FC right now, but haven't been waiting very long. Why don't we have an "FC Waiters" list? Just curious -- and I am not volunteering to do it. My computer skills are not the greatest!! If it makes anyone feel better, information from the chat room (or whatever you call it) for people using my agency seems to indicate that FC is moving a little quicker, but who knows?

I thought about starting an FC Waiters list, but didn't know if it was a manager thing or not and was afraid I'd start it and then move to the PGN waiters. I sure hope I move to PGN soon. I'm praying for all of us to get into PGN soon. Please FC let us go so we can enter PGN...!

I'm wondering if some of us are out and just don't know?? Do you all have a lot of contact with your agency? I've heard of some people exiting PGN and not even knowing they had exited family court yet. Let's all hope that this is us too!!

Waiting...waiting...waiting..
Still waiting with everyone else. We don't know about interviews or preapproval. We have had a DNA match for about 10-12 days now. Who knows.

Lisa aka Isk, I sure hope you are right...! That would be awsome! I think I'd faint if I found out I had been out of family court and in PGN without even knowing it. LOL I hope I hope I hope hope hope...! Praying for all of us, Karen
PS I am in contact with my agency. They have emailed my attorney 2 times this week that I know of, but still no news...

Oh Dear.............. I am disgruntled right now and won't even try and hide it!
We have been stuck in FC for along time and I want out.
Much rather be waiting in PGN. We are in close contact w/ our agency and atty and they say Fc and PGN are both backed up.... I say, no kidding!!! Unback it up will ya? Ugh!!! We had Dna and Interview on 11/18..... Since this is out of my control I better just learn some patience and just give it over to God. I truly am a little snively (sp) tonight.... maybe it's PMS or just good ole, "I am stuck in one part or the other part of adoption land". I think it got harder to since we were moving along so well and PA came quickly and then we visited. After the visit I do think it gets harder although very much worth it. Will continue praying for us all. Thanks for the supportive thread! Laura Jean

I am also still in family court.
Some interviews were missed...so I believe the bmom interview was finally done 2 weeks ago.... Been in FC since Oct...... Hope we all move along soon!

I'm stuck in Family Court too. We went in 11/29 and they did the interview last Weds finally. We found out there was a failed interview attempt as well, and the birthmom said she was having second thoughts about an adoption plan. Then the next day our agency said all was fine and they should have the report in 2 weeks. Next week is week 2 after the interview, hope to get good news. We got pre-approval 12-13-05. Good luck to you all, its so frustrating to be stuck. Hope we all move onto PGN soon, then out!! Shelly

I'm one of the ones that got out of Family Court, and entered into PGN without even knowing. Never assume your agecny will tell you things!
We got into FC 12/23 and apparently excited sometime before 1/20..... We were told when we went into fc, but noone told us when we were out or that we entered pgn.
