We're waiting Karen! We had our DNA done a couple of weeks before you and we're still waiting for our preapproval too! You got yours quick!!!! I hope you get out of FC soon. At least you're ready for PGN!

Jeanne  11/05 decided to switch countries from Ukraine to Guatemala 11/23/05 accepted referral for beautiful baby girl born Nov. 9th. 12/15/05 dossier to Guatemala 1/15/06 DNA matched and we are in Family Court 1/25/06 embassy receives DNA 2/23-2/27 beautiful visit trip! 3/10/06 contacted senator's office about preapproval. 4/21/06 got PREAPPROVAL! Yippeeeee! 8/18/06 FINALLY IN PGN 8/25/06 ooops....our mistake! NOT in PGN!  9/4/06 Okay! NOW we're IN PGN! 12/19/06 OUT OUT OUT of PGN! Thank you SOOOOOO MUCH!  1/10/07 new birth certificate issued 1/17/07 PINK!!! Appt is 1/23/07 Thank you God!  Finally home in Kentucky! 1/29/07

Still in Family Court...
SWI 12/8 PA on 1/4 What the HECK??!?! Our agency tells us that they are still trying to play catch-up from the Christmas holiday vacation schedule. But with people stuck since October, I'm incredulous. I wonder if we all have the same SW and just waiting on him/her to get off his/her duff.

to see how everyone is doing....
any "exits" to report? please do if you do.... this is getting very frustrating! what in the world could be taking so long. there are no extenuating (sp) circmstances in this adoption to make it complicated or prolonged in this simple step. c'mon! i am ready to wait my turn in PGN. let's hope ths week ends with a lot of good news!!!! laura jean

I exited Friday the 3rd, but didn't find out till today. It's possible to exit FC and not even know it. Hang in there. My prayers are with all of you to have a speedy exit from FC. Karen

Far as I know we are still waiting on our report to be written. And so we wait.....

Ditto for me -- still waiting. My agency always seems to give good news on Monday, so maybe next Monday is it for me. I sure hope so! Waiting is so hard -- not sure how I will ever make it!

I am out of Family Court. Just came back from an incredible visit and the attorney told me I was in PGN but with the language barrier, I couldn't find out when I went in. I hope everyone else hears soon!
