Is three the perfect number?
Yeah... I think so. When I was waiting for Sara, I could imagine wanting another and another and another (which my dh would never agree to,) but now that she's home... I really feel like our family is complete. Anyone else out there perfectly happy with their three?

Here is another picture of all three of them... I gave up trying to get them to look at the camera and smile at the same time. I'm going to have to work on that one!

So cute. Yes I have two little beautiful boys and now my Princess and theink it would be fun to have another but think we are probably done. Once the kids start school and activities it starts to get crazy and I want to be able to be there for them for their sports, activities, working in the class, birthday parties, bible school etc.

Your children are gorgeous. I'm one of three and I will have three children of my own. That will be it. I think!

hey!
im in the same boat as you...two 'big' boys and a baby girl. i agree. three is PERFECT. especially if the third is the opposite sex of the first 2. i have some good friends who are NOT fond of that odd number thing and are considering thier 4th. but then they have all the same sex. i will say after my first i felt pretty sure i was done for like the first year, after the second, inspite of colic, and ears, i did not feel done adding to our family, but i was done with pregnancies. after a few years of prayers and pleading, dh who WAS done after child 1, then after child 2, FINALLY agreed to a third! and that's good for us.... cris...at least i THINK that's good for us... ![]()

I have a bio dd who is 12 (their big "Sissy") and then our two boys. Every once in a great while, I'll go out and peruse the photolistings and I'm happy to say that "to date", I haven't felt the pull to adopt another. . .although my dh would in a heartbeat! (What a switch, huh? -- but then he's not home with the two boys all day long!)
I feel like my family is complete -- but I will add "for now" -- who knows if it will change in the future.

Yes, I think three is perfect. I have two boys and would love one more. Actually, I think I'd like a girl now. Three just seems like so much fun. Plus, as they get older and move away, there is still bound to be someone at your house for Christmas each year!

Well, I did think so...
We had three for nearly ten years, and for the first five years I was thrilled and thought three was plenty. But about the time our youngest started kindergarten, God started speaking to my heart about taking in a child who needed a family. It took 4 years to convince dh, so it was 9 years between our 3rd and 4th. I could still hold out for more, but so far haven't felt God's leading in a particular direction...
Congrats on your three blessings, though! Carolyn
