If we get the process started, like signing with agency, Home study , I 600A Dossier ect.. If we dont have all the money for referral when paper chase completed, will agency wait for us to finish saving before giving us a referral?

Just wanting the paper chase over, even though we dont have all the money yet

You probably could. The concern would be that documents are only good for one year. So if it takes you a while to save, you could end up needing to redo a lot of your dossier.

As soon as you receive your referral you have to pay the half of the fee. You have to ask to your agency how they will work that situation. Every agency works differently, but in money matters they all agree! money first please!!!

I would think you could set up a "game plan" with your agency. Let them know you're dossier will be done by May, but you won't have the money to accept a referral until August (for example).

However, I'm sure you'll have to pay all the Agency fees like usual.

Also, some agencies/cases move QUICK - so you'll want to be prepared for the 2nd half of the Foreign fee. Our Foreign fee payments were just 3 months apart

It all depends on your agency. Most make you sign a contract, read it carefully Our agency made us pay everything once we accepted the referral (It was about a 3-4weeks for our referral).

Other agencies let you pay half at referral and the other half sometime later.
