Our agency video from our Russian adoption used "From A Distance" and it was very fitting. I am not sure of the singer/writer.

One more..."Miracle" by Celine Dion, I used it for my son. He is bio but I think it could definatly fit into an adoption

I also LOVE the song, "Baby Mine", but am especially in love with this version sung by Bonnie Raitt. It's on this CD that's a compilation of Disney songs sung by current artists and it's called "Stay Awake". Shawn Colvin also has done an album called something like Holiday Songs and Lullabies that is terrific - there's a song called "Rocking" that is beautiful as well.

I have a special place in my heart for THIS song, and no one here has mentioned it. It's not "that" popular, but you can find it on most of the music download sites, and it's on a compilation CD I have, of parenting type songs....
It's called "A SMILE LIKE YOURS" and is sung by Natalie Cole. It is simply beeee yoooo teeee fullll !!!!
