tips for organizing post adoption paperwork
Forum Friends,
I would love your ideas and tips on how you have organized ALL the post adoption paperwork. I am thinking about using a binder with clear plastic sheets. Right now it's all in a box! Help please, TLC

I have to be honest, I have a rubbermaid box that all mine is currently filed in....my thought process was that in an emergency evacuation I can grab it and go! I really did this when it was during the process as I had this horrible fear of losing everything during a hurricane.
When I get a chance I will probably make a folder and put it in my filing cabinet. Regards, Brandy

I have a multiple section folder where all the pre-adoption stuff is filed neatly. However, the post adoption paperwork is in the folder that the agency gave me. I have more now to add to it COC, SSN... etc. Which is just laying inside the folder. Got to get my act together with the post paperwork. ( bumping for more ideas)
I do think I will add it to the fire box ( for safe keeping)

Sooo funny Mary2005! Mine is thrown in a crate right now, but my plan is to put in a binder with clear plastic sheets.

It's not terribly well organized but all in one file inside our fireproof lockbox.
