Mazatenango??
Hi
I was wondering if anyone else had had a BC from Mazatenango and how long it took. Our Mia was born there. I acutally saw a photo of a little girl also born in Mazatenango when there was a bath photo parade a few weeks ago. I was shocked at how much the two girls looked alike! Has anyone traveled there to visit your babies home town on your pick up trip (without the baby of course)? I dont find much info on Mazatenango since it is a small town. Any input on Mazatenango is appreciated. THANKS

Mazatenango tends to be lightening fast. My facilitator was able to get our BC while waiting. Talk about same day service! That should be one thing you won't have to worry about.

Oh good, I hope so! We still havnt heard back from our agency about the BC (we found out we got out and were submitted last Friday). Im going to call today for an update. I feel bad bugging but we didnt even find out about PGN until I called them and they then called the attorney. We had probably been out a couple of days already since the Birth mother had already signed off.
Thanks for the reply!

Our user name is theslaws because our last name is Slawikowski. NOthing inventive there! My husband's nickname when he played sports was Slaw. I added to the other thread too.

Our baby was born in Mazatenango as well. It's good to know that when we get to that point, we won't be waiting long for the BC.

It took one day for our bc to be issued. Birthmother signed off on Nov 21 and it was issued Nov 22. So they are very quick. I hope you hear you got it soon.

You know what, it is interesting that it has been brought up about appearance. Just like with tribal people who tend to have similar features, it stands to reason that families who have lived in Maz for generations may have similar appearance. So interesting. I bet there is something to this theory. Any other maz babes? Here is mine as an infant.
