UPDATE: Adoption Agency Raided in CA.
I just wanted to follow up and let folks know that NPR will be airing a story this weekend about the Agency Raid that was reported earlier in the week. It will air Sunday on National Public Radio's Weekend All Things Considered. Check your local NPR listings.
I also want to add that some of our forum members are effected by this event. In fact, one of our very active forum members is the one who brougt this to my attention and she may be effected. Unfortunately it is necessary for them to remain anonymous as to protect their user identity. That was my biggest fear was that it was affecting many of our friends on this forum.
Dear Heavenly Father, Please hold these families affected by this unethical agency in your arms. They need your strength to carry them through this very difficult time. Give them a sense of peace to know that everything is going to work out and hopefully they will be the parents they had so hoped to be.Amen Ami

We had actually thought about using them years ago for Kazakhstan..I hope the forum members affected will be able to continue to proceed and will have their children home very soon..

How very sad for those involved. I know this has happened in the past and people have completed the process. I think they did have to hire additional assistance to do that. I hope some who may have been there can let us know how they did it.

I, too, considered this agency as it is very close to where I live. I hope that all of who are in-process through this agency bring your little ones home very soon.

You know, I just checked, and their various identities and a number of photolistings are still listed on "the big photolistings site." I hope that the photolisting site will take them down.... Big sigh...and prayers and hugs for any of our forum members affected by all this...
