Red face in the eyes of my kindergarten son
my son came home from kindergarten all proud this week..
I have tryed my hardest to keep this adoption a "miracle" in my boys eyes.( even when I want to scream and cry..and say NOT FAIR!!.) anyways...he hands me a little art project they did..titled "what I most want to do in 2006"

below was a crayon drawing of
me -- my husband holding a suitcase-- and him with a big bag.(he says it a diaper bag).and his little brother (holding a diaper?!?!) with an airplane in the backround ..and at the bottom a tiny pink girl .. with a huge smile..

and in red pen the teacher wrote..
HE told the class all he wants to do is take care of his sister. in 2006
I praised him and gave him a big huge ...we hung it on the frig..
but later after bed time prayers and he was asleep..
wept like a baby..I will keep it for her.. and put it in her scrapbook..children are so sweet..it was one of those moments you will never forget..

That got me teary! I am constantly amazed at the innocence and truth our little ones posess. Your little man sounds like he'll make a wonderful big brother. How sweet! Can you scan or take a picture of his drawing and share it with us?

for the first several months after our second baby from guat. was home, all my oldest could say, everywhere we went, is MY SISTER IS HOME FROM GUATEMALA she told everyone who would listen
