Being newbies to this site, I apologize if this question has come up already.... But we are just looking into starting this whole process. Any recommendations (or non-recommendations) on which agencies have worked well (or not so well) would be greatly appreciated. Any advice on what questions to ask etc... would also be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome...

there is a "sticky" up at the top of the forum page called "Agency Feedback...".. You can take a peek through names of agencies, you can even search for a state probably. Then, if you have a specific question about a specific agency, you should send a private message to the person who posted that name and ask away. Discussions about one specific agency on the public pages violates the terms of service of the forum.
Or - if you know the name of an agency - post it as the title to a new thread and ask people to "pm" you!
