It's Wednesday...two days left to go until another long weekend....
So I overnighted our dossier and pictures to the agency they have received them, they said that it looks good, and they are sending it down to Guatemala TODAY....YEAH... Any body have a time line on about how long it takes the dossier to be translated? Because after it is translated it will be filed with Family Court....Yeah.... Oh yeah and then how long does FC take????? Sorry I am a ball of energy right now....

Wow I can hardly believe how fast everything is moving this time around now I am hoping that I don't hit a slow down but I am sure I will somewhere along the lines!! But I171H (corrected version) back on Friday!! The docs sent to Chicago for authentication back on Christmas Eve and my dossier was Fed-exed away today!! I am #6 on the waiting list with 2 families considering referrals so hopefully will soon be #4!! I can hardly wait to be a mommy again!!

Ok - we thought we could not get a referal until after we got our I171h. However, I talked to our CW yesterday and it turns out that we in fact CAN!
Oh boy - nervousness, frustration, anticipation, impatience you name it. What a whirlwind and we're just at the begining! We might have a referal by the end of the year (fingers crossed)!?!?

Congrats to everyone who has made progress!
Chel & Tom - did I understand correctly - you have a referral! Boy or girl?Kerry - I spoke with Yocasta at USCIS Newark yesterday about the 171H; she stated she's finishing up November fingerprint clearances, and hopes to begin December's next week. For a moment, I got excited, thinking that we had our appointment on the 1st, so she'd be processing it soon. She said that the processing time depends on when your fingerprint clearance was received, not when the fingerprint appointment was. So, probably a couple more weeks. (Don't know how to find out when the clearance was issued; but have to remind myself that there's still a lot of waiting to do... Wishes to everyone one for a safe holiday! -Priscilla

Priscilla - We do!! It's a boy born 12/11. We're so excited! I know there is still a long wait ahead of us - first of all to get the 171. If we had requested a girl I'm pretty sure we would have been put on the waiting list after getting the 171.
Hope your 171 (and all who are waiting on it) comes soon!!! There's definitely a lot of 'hurry up and wait'  . Ahhh but it will definitely be worth it .

We found out that we entered PGN on 12/28. My prayer is that we have a very short stay. Congratulations to all the good news. Glad to see some activity happening. Have a great New Year. 2006 will definately be a great year.

We sure hope our case is through PGN in a Flash. We aer so pleased with our agency. They are really special people and want to please their clients. I am so blessed to have gotten such good advise about them. Congratulations again on your I171H. Hope you have your DNA real soon.
