I am so sorry you still haven't received your homestudy. Has the SW given you an estimated time when it will be done?

Like you, I have nothing new to report either...just waiting and trying not to freak out on the lack of info.

Nothing new here. I'm hoping my case is in PGN, but I don't know for sure. And in the world of adoption, no news is ... no news. Sigh. Oh well, fortunately I delight in the season by witnessing it through the eyes of my two boys. It's a magic you will all get to know in the coming years. Happy holidays!

This is my first time posting. I got kicked out of PGN for not having a male role model letter but good news is that I am now back in (lost a week getting it done, though)

Keeping fingers and toes crossed that I have no more kickouts. Seems like everyone is getting out of PGN so quickly these days (I went in 11/14).

I am very frustrated as well. I have a draft of my homestudy, which my placement agency has not yet reviewed and the HS agency cannot release a copy to BCIS because they don't have the child support document back from the county yet and the person who handles it is out!!! At least, I am thankful that they are communicating with me and letting me know what is going on!

Marjorie: I got an e-mail today about a get together in the Philly area in January. Aren't you in that area? I don't remember if you were on the e-mail list, but hope to see you there!!

My thoughts and prayers and with you all! Hope we all get some good news soon!

I wish I could say I had good news, but to be honest I'm frustrated right now as well. I have been in PGN since 11/11, got kicked out for a silly reason on 11/30 and got right back in the same day. So today is exactly 2 weeks from getting back in and I REALLY hope I'm out soon as I feel like I am barely holding it together at times. I had at one time hoped Kate would be home for Christmas, but now I hope it is before the end of January! I also have to wait for a GCBC- which I know adds time.

i haven't heard much from my adoption worker about my case. last i knew i entered pgn on 12-6-05 but that's it. my adoption worker said all my paperwork is ok, so that shouldn't result in a kick out. i'm just waiting for what seems like forever............

Why is there so little news in the adoption world? I guess this is how it is going to be until after the holidays. I am making up news in my head about what Benjamin is doing. I also have no new news. I am expecting an update any day now with new pictures, but who knows. I am sending a second ziploc baggie down with pictures and a tape that I made and some more clothes.

Hi everyone --

Waiting is hard -- no matter what part of the process you're in, I think. At least it was for me. I've been an impatient cookie throughout this whole ordeal. Now, I'm impatiently waiting for BC and Pink. Haven't heard yet if attorney even submitted request for BC yet -- so hoping he did. Am feeling frustrated.

On the positive side, as much as I want my little guy home, I had to have a minor medical procedure today and was actually thankful that he wasn't here. I was pretty uncomfortable for an hour or two after the procedure was done and was thinking -- what would I have done if he were here?? How would I take care of him while I was in a lot of pain??? Who would I call to help me?????

Also on the positive side, have been madly getting ready for my son's arrival. Got the car seat officially installed (the car seat lady even had a hard time with it, so I didn't feel so badly that I couldn't figure it out). Applied for life insurance today. Hooked up with a financial planner guy. Have a friend coming in tomorrow to build some shelves for me.

Hope I hear some good news soon!! Hope we all do!!!!!!

Everyone else! My DH and I accepted our referral for a baby girl on 11/23. Currently we are waiting for our POA to come back from the embassy and we'll then, hopefully, send our dossier down too....that is IF everything is okay and it's all finished!

I'm praying you all hear good news soon! Thanks for allowing me to be a part!
