Kinda kick out from PGN
two weeks ago we were told that PGN said that we need a new POA but the agency said we were not KO. Never really figurd that out. We go the P.A to the lawyer last week and are back in. Does that mean that we go to the bottom of the pile or do we just immediatly go back to the person who had our case. Any news would be helpful. I just don't know if I should be expect news or if it will be after the New Year! any thoughts are welcome!

Hi Laurie --
From what I understand, your case goes back to the reviewer who originally had it . . . Hope you get good news very soon!!!!!

If ir does go back to the reviewer what does that mean? I mainly am trying to figure out is it like our case just went into PGN or is it just as soon as the paper gets in we will get an approval.

I had the same kinds of questions....our reviewer requested another BC does that mean that was the only thing they needed in the file or after they realized that...they gave us a KO without looking at the rest of the papers.....just curious!

If I understand your question correctly, it totally depends on the reviewer. I think they are *supposed* to review the whole file and kick all problems out together. As you can see from our timeline, that doesn't always happen. Your file does go back to the same person and I *believe* goes through the process again. Our reviewer took 22 days on average to review. Keep in mind that each reviewer is different and most of them seem to be moving rather quickly! I hope this is it for you both and that you hear great news very soon! Blessings, Ali

the down side here is the holidays.
it seems pgn is kind of individualized by how each person 'celebrates' (aka takes a vacation). i know how HARD this time of year was for us last year. but, it also seems like pgn is really moving right along this year! i hope your case just needed this one doc and gets a super fast sign off! cris

From what I know and a similar experience, I believe it goes back to the reviewer. Ours wasn't much longer after it had been fixed. I pray that yours is quick as well!

Talked to Linda a women who used to work with the attorneys in Guate. I was told that our cases will go back to the orignal reviewer. That like other said they are suppose to review the whole case some do some don't other wise we would not have people with 7 KO. She also said once your new paper work is in then you go back on the reviews desk. Depending on how many cases that person is currenlty working on is how long it will take.
She also stated that with the holidays and vacation it could be before or after the holidays. At this point all I want is to be out of PGN as of January 30 we will have been in this process 1 year paper ready. I would really like to have him home for his 2nd Birthday and if not then for my birthday. January 30. I hope someone says a prayer because I am so stressed and feel that my agency never gives us straight answers!
