OK, I'm having a little trouble here. I'd RATHER find this in a store where I can get it in person (East coast, I live in Virginia) because of shipping costs.....

Santa is looking for a WHITE children's table and chair set for Addison's room. It has to be white, without any exciting characters or designs on it. We would use it for a long time and it will match her other major furnishings in her room if it is generically white. Prefer wood or wood and some veneers. Most stuff is not ALL wood anyway. Chairs, we only really need 2 chairs and a table. Table can be any shape...rectangle would work best but round or square not out of the question!

So folks... help me out if you have ANY suggestions!!

have you tried Pottery Barn Kids? They have beautiful white tables for kids and thier chairs come in many different colors! Good luck and I hope this helps! PS...So glad Miss. Addison is feeling better, that must have been so scary! Give her extra hugs from us! Take Care,

I love Pottery Barn Kids... I did a search for tables and chairs, looks like there are two and they come in white, primary or pastel colors. Will email you the link.

You could always paint one that is a wood tone. Spray painting is really quite easy If I see one I'll let you know.

If you have an unfinished furniture store in your area, you may find a great deal. And, those places seem to have a pretty good selection of wood tables and chairs. You may be able to get the store to paint it for you if you needed. Potterybarn kids is also a good suggestion.

Hey, thanks you guys! I did see the ones at PBK and unfortunately I want them ALL!! They're a little pricey but.....wow, I love them....*sigh!* Was hoping not to spend as much....but still....LOL!

Jen we have a store here in our town that sells furniture that is unfinished. They have the cutest little tables and chairs but they must be painted. The good thing about it is that because they are unfinished and require that you finish them how you want they are pretty affordable. Do you have a store like this near your?

Sometimes giant stores like Costco have items like this at Christmas time. That's where we bought our daughter's table/chairs for her playhouse about 3 years ago. Also, specialty children's stores usually stock a lot of different sets. They could be on the pricier side though. I agree that the ones from PBK's are too cute for words.. Have you seen the pink refrigerator/stove/sink ?? SO CUTE!!

my mom got my neice (18months) and my daughter (11months) white table and 2 chair sets from babies r us. i think she said they were 80-90 for the set. i could not find them on line but she said she got them at the store and did not see them on line either. she is making little table clothes and chair covers for each set! i can't wait to have little tea parties!

Try Target. I know that may sound crazy...but, I swear I saw a set there that looks a lot like the ones that you get at PBK and a lot less $$$ Just a thought! I just went to Target.com and click on furniture...then kids...there are several different styles there! Very affordable too!

There is an all white table at pier 1 kids dot com or at thier local stores on sale for $69. Look under accessories on the website. I am obsessing about this project of yours! After all everything needs to be perfect for Miss. Addison!

Find a furniture store that sells "coaster company" imports. They will have access to basic, inexpensive stuff...AND Coaster sells all over the US. Just call the stores in your area and ask if they carry Coaster. The ones who do will know where to get what you're looking for.

IKEA has a very nice unfinished wood table and two chairs that can be painted or stained for $39.99. I've seen it in person and it appears to be good quality and gets great reviews on another board. It's on their website under Children's IKEA / Children's Furniture / Small Furniture

You folks are so cool! I got lots of great suggestions and wanted to thank EVERYONE who sent me a PM or posted here....I've got some looking to do, but with more direction now....THANK YOU SO MUCH!

OH and yes....I LOVE that pink kitchen that PBKids has...it rocks! Unfortunately, I have no idea where we would put it...LOL!
