Question Age limits for Guatemala?

Anyone know if my husband of 58 and myself of 36 would be able to adopt from Guatemala?

You will have no problem adopting from Guatemala due to your age. However you might want to consider adopting a slightly older child, as it might be tough to pay for college on a retirement income...just a thought.

I have had plenty of families adopt infants when they were older, and they make fantastic parents...they are mature, financially stable, and really ready to commit their time and energy to a child. It seems to be a real win-win situation.

Good Luck to you!

Older parents

My husband is 55 and I am 53 yrs old. We have a bio son who is 7 (we were late starters) and we are adopting a 5 yr old boy from Guatemala (we are waiting for PGN approval). You should have no problem at all adopting from Guatemala at your ages. Good luck!
