One year ago today . . .
I received the referral of mi hija. One year ago tonight, I was scrambling for information about very high biliruben on the internet. One year ago tomorrow, I was agonizing over the frightening possibilities, contacting pediatricians, listening to the advice of family and friends, and, in general, being terrified about the decision I was about to make.

Your little one is a doll! I'm so glad to see a new picture of her and I would be showing her off, too! I picked Luke up just 17 days before you picked your little one up, and life has been so wonderful with him in our family. We went through some of those same uncertainties with Luke, so I know how you felt back then.
My 16 yr. old son said it best last night..."It feels like Luke has always been here and that he was made to be my brother". They're really close and Luke adores him! He mocks him when Jacob lays on the floor to watch TV. It's so sweet to watch. Amazing how far we've all come in a year and it's so neat to hear from those who were going through their adoptions the same time we were. I'd love to see more pictures of your cutie pie! Her eyes are beautiful and look like they're just 'dancing' with joy. Congratulations on your milestone and post more pics when you can! take care, Judy
