I have a dilemma and need to know your thoughts on this. We will be "officially" out of PGN on Monday (if not before). We have at the 11th hour decided to take all 3 girls with us on the pick up trip. Now my question is this. Would you think it's safe to apply for their passports on Monday and expedite them through our courthouse? Through the courthouse, they would be ready 10 days from Monday. That would put their passports ready on the 17th. Is that enough time or should I expedite them faster? I hate to spend a ton of money if that would be enough time, but I don't want to get caught with no passports. Ronaldo and Julia's bc's are from Cubulco, so I have no idea how long they would take to be ready.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Help!

Hi Dawn,
Oh, this is so much better than your last dilemma! First -- any chance you can apply for passports tomorrow? Either way, I'd go for them through the courthouse. The chance that you'll get your BCs AND pink in less than two weeks I'd say is pretty small, having just been through it earlier this year. Even if it did happen, I know it would kill you, but you could postpone your travel until you have the passports. How great you are taking your children. It will be a wonderful experience. Deep breaths, deep breaths! Marjorie

From what I can see from people's posts is that the embassy appt. is coming 2-3 weeks after pink is issued, so I'd say you have several weeks at least.
