Hi,
I am in a situation where I cannot get DNA authorization since July. I have been given a few excuses but that is about it and really those minor things should have been resolved. They involved the Embassy losing paperwork but I replaced the paperwork over a month ago. I would like to hear anyone's experience with Adoption Supervisors and if you felt that hiring them actually hindered your adoption or caused your agency to stop your adoption or perhaps all of a sudden your attorney representing you no longer will represent you because they do not feel comfortable working with Adoption Supervisors. I want some answers but am afraid of consequences too. Please help. I am really frustrated right now. Thank you so much.

We used them also..I forgot Jennifer is using them! Anyways..make sure it doesn't say anywhere in your contract that you can't hire outside help. I know in our case the contract did not say that. AS was well aware of our facilitator (who went on to become an agency) and had helped many of her clients in the past. Our lawyer seemed to like having the help. When the facilitator found out she was angry but probably knew she could do nothing..she had already threatened to pull our referral before that more than once and surprisingly she didn't threaten it after finding out we hired someone (though she didn't know who)..
If you have been waiting for DNA since July, maybe you should at least email Manfred and see what he says..
