I need to provide a copy of the birthmom's cedula, or identification card, to the searcher whom we're hiring to find Brielle's birthmom.

Is there an actual copy of the cedula we are supposed to get? I did find, under the birthmom's consent to the adoption, her id number, address etc. Is that it? It has the id and registry umbers and where it was issued, so I'm thinking this is the info. the searcher needs.

I have a copy of the bio mom's id card that I received from the foster mother. It was among the papers that grant her custody of the children. I have the card, the POA, and the notarial consent. I don't know if this helps you any. Good luck!

I had an actual copy of the card too. It helps because it has a photo for the searcher to use, plus birth information, her parents names, etc.

Hi - I am a lurker here, but I did want to jump in and say that I received a copy of the birth mom's cedula in the adoption papers that were provided by my attorney. There is a registration number on it as well as her picture, and statistics. (birthdate, height, weight etc.)

I was also wondering who you are dealing with for a birth mom search. We brought our daughter home 3 1/2 years ago. As more time passes I feel like I should try and locate this woman before it becomes utterly impossible.
