The Spirit lives in us, making our bodies a Temple (1 Cor. 6:19-20) and blessing us in many ways (Romans 8). We can be courageous people even in the face of attack, criticism, and ridicule because of the Spirit's presence. The fruit that the Spirit produces (Gal. 5:22-23) and the love that the Spirit pours into our heart (Rom. 5:5) do not make us weak. Instead, the Spirit's presence is a powerful force to help us live self-disciplined lives.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for the Spirit's constant presence in my life. Please empower me with even greater courage and strength as I face the daily challenges in my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Brina(brinawynne)- UPDATE- My parents were both released from the hospital on Tuesday evening and I have been staying at their house since then. My mother has rehab 3 days a week and my dad 2 days a week. It will be tough over the next several months,

Sheila-(ksm’smom) - for prayers of restoration. We are still so struggling with the loss of one of our twin daughters. It is so bittersweet to see the other twin growing and flourishing and still grieving for the other.

Jenny (Babybri) - we are in a PGN investigation. I am just so frustrated! We have been in PGN for 12 weeks with 2 kickouts and now this! I just don't understand what is the problem. I got an update on my little one which says that she can roll over, sit up, say mama, eats solid foods and that she even has 2 teeth on the bottom! I am so glad that she is developing well, but I feel like I am missing out on so much. I just feel sad and drained right now. I sure could use some prayers.

Mildred-(mildredjohn)- interview rescheduled for the 31st.because of miscommunication to the foster mom on the time. (AHHH!!) and María José's safety and health.

(coachmom) -..friend Peggy with brain cancer is not expected to live much longer. He youngest is 7. Her oldest daughter was supposed to married in the spring and they are moving the wedding to December hoping that she will make it until then. She has 5 children and is 47 years old.

Rickyloca1999-for us to get out of family court and for preapproval. We have been in for 5 weeks and it's been 3 weeks since the interviews. We have been waiting 6 weeks since DNA being done and 5 weeks from the DNA match for preapproval. I really hope we hear good news about these two steps soon. We are leaving Friday Oct 21 for our second visit with our baby girl and returning on Oct 25.

candkss-A family member who knew we were looking into adopting from Guatemala called us over the weekend. He works with a Mexican man whose ex girlfriend is having a baby and may give it up for adoption. There is a chance we could get this baby. I pray for her to open her heart to us if that is Gods will.

Wendi (myelijah) - We just received ANOTHER I-72 from the Embassy They are now saying DNA has to be done again We are still traveling to visit her Oct. 1 thru Oct. 7. Please pray for me because my attitude is very poor right now and I am struggling with my faith. I am feeling a bit down, to say the least.

Leigh (emmasmom)-.- my dh broke his nose on Sunday 10/16. He was warming up my 13 old to pitch in the next game, and the ball bounced off the plate and smacked him in the face. He will be having surgery on 10/27 at 11:30 am GA time, and will not be able to fly for 2 weeks after surgery. We are currently still waiting for our GCBC, and pray that we get it soon and are able to fly after 11/3.

Lisa (Carney10) -we have DNA and SW interview Authorization as of Monday. for a quick and speedy process getting Aleah home.

Lisaf1- my daughters GCBC was supposed to be issued. My agency has no updated information. The last time I didn't hear any info when the BC was supposed to be ready I was kicked out by the Civil registra. I am hoping that is not the case this time.

MLRJ-UPDATE_: I cannot say much at this time except that both of our cases are in trouble. I am asking everyone who reads this post to pray VERY hard for our little boy t as he is in the hands of some dangerous people. And for resolution for our little girls case.

Melissa-(ballarinagirl) - - found out today that our attorney was able to pick up our son's BC but still needs to get his passport and submit to the Embassy.. We are still hoping to travel by the end of October. Our son turns 3 on Nov. 14th. Please pray that we can get him home for his 3rd birthday this year.Please pray also for my daughter who is having some concerns with a knot on her leg. Praying that we can find out what is causing it and that it is something that requires minor treatment

An update and PRAISE!
I had a surgical breast biopsy done two weeks ago.
Everything went very well!
The tests came back NEGATIVE for cancer!

Praise GOD...We are out...and now just waiting for final sign off..Peten BC and PINK....I was feeling awful last week...had my church friends pray....felt very much at peace and confident over the weekend. We are thrilled. Thanks all for the prayers. I will continue to pray for all of these requests...

I have not been on this prayer list, but, would like to be added. My prayer is for DNA to be completed on our case this week. We have waited a while...due to waiting on other documents and we now have authorization for DNA since 10/10. COME ON DNA!
