For those of you who haven't already sent in your G-884 (Request for Return of Original Documents), it might be a good idea to check with your local USCIS office (if you can ever get through there) to find out if they want you to send your documents to Buffalo, New York instead of the local office.

I called the national-level USCIS customer service line & they told me to send my G-884 to the local CIS Office (Milw., WI for me). Just yesterday, I received my G-884 request back from the Milw. office with a form letter indicating I need to send it to Buffalo. I'm not sure what's up, but thought I would mention this before anyone else wastes time sending G-884s to the wrong place! (Funny the Milw. office couldn't just forward to Buffalo for me?! My Federal tax dollars weren't wasted there!)
