HELP-QUESTION ABOUT i600 FEES
We were approved on our original I600a for 4 children. We brought Rosy home last November which used the fee that was sent with the application. How, to whom, when do we pay the fee that I think that we owe for Carmen???Do I pay it in Baltimore INS prior to leaving? Do I need to pay it to get pink? I am so confused.
any info would be appreciated. thanks Cherie P.S. Carmen and Rosy are not biological siblings so I believe a second fee is due.

HI- I am fairly sure that you will pay the extra fee in-country when you pick your child up-This is how it worked for us in Vietnam and how we were thinking it would go in Guatemala.

I think at the embassy when you pick up your child. You are supposed to bring cash? Some one enlighten me. We face a similar situation. I think the embassy also takes credit cards? LOL We have a long ways to go yet so I have not research it too far. I think you have to pay the original I600A fee again too as the children are not related. Anna

We paid the second I600 fee at the Embassy when we picked up Daniel. The Embassy does take credit cards, though they will only swipe them a couple times, so if there is any glitch . . . .
We used a credit card at the Embassy on both trips with no problem, but had cash as a backup just in case.
