Does anyone know what an average homestudy cost in California is? Thanks.

Ors was bout $1500 and then a few hidden cost and the visits following for readoption so was a little over $2000 total.

Its been about 3 years, but we had ours done in CA for about 2000.00. Now, this also included classes we had to attend (agency requirement).
I can recommend a good homestudy agency if you want to PM me. They are licensed in all counties in CA. Good Luck in your research!!

Cost was $1850 + fingerprints came to about $2000. I can give you info on my agency if you pm me.

We live here in the Bay Area ... our Home Study Application Fee was $250 / Home Study Fingerprinting Fee $120 and the actual Home Study Fee $2400. If you would like to know who we used PM me ... I thought our Social Worker was really good and quick!

I was thinking we paid about $2400 in the Bay Area too - spendy.

Bio daughter age 6 Guatemalan daughter age 3, home 12/9/2005 Very unhappy with my agency due to lack of communication, long process, contract restrictions, and many other reasons. Ask me if you'd like to avoid them.

Just finished ours and it's very pricey. I'm also in the Bay Area, No Calif. Ours was $2300, plus app fee $250 plus classes which are required another $150. Best of luck to you.

$2100 plus notarization fees $100-200 LA area This did not include post placement. Feel free to pm me if you need some one in that area. They do SD and father out too. I also previously used other agencies that I would not recommend. Anna
