(coachmom)-, update for my friend(Peggy) who has brain cancer-she had a seizure this week which is not a good sign. There is so much swelling still and she has the worst kind of brain cancer. for pre-approval to come soon

Lynn (Dixiemom)- nephew- UPDATE-Right now they are wanting to finish the first 6 weks of chemo and will check things out after that .They are thinking they may have to remove his spleen. Of course this is a separate issue from the Langerhans diagnosis, so there are 2 things going on at once with this little guy. He will be 3 months old next week and is so little.

bjmom-(Beth)- Internet friend, Denise, who adopted twins from Belarus 2 years ago, is on her death bed. Her 4-year-old children do not understand what is going on and why their mother is no longer coherent. Please pray for peace and strength for Denise and her family. Also, pray for her salvation. She is an atheist.

candkss-A family member who knew we were looking into adopting from Guatemala called us over the weekend. He works with a mexican man who's ex girlfriend is having a baby and may give it up for adoption. There is a chance we could get this baby. This is totally out of the blue, but I am open to whatever God has planned for us. She was wanting to abort the baby, because she had a baby by this man in may and now he has a new girl friend who is also going to have a baby. I pray for her to open her heart to us if that is Gods will.

Leigh(emmasmom)-. Beth's husband has been staying at her friend's house, but this week, he will staying at his home with Beth & the kids. Please pray for Beth; as she is a little worried about the situation. With dementia patients, their mood swings depend on how well the meds are working. One day they can be working great, and the next day he could be having problems with his behavior. We really need our GCBC. We have been out of PGN since 8/31 and just want our little girl home. Her 1st birthday is Nov. 15th, and I would so much like to have her here with our family to celebrate.

Sandra(Geekster)- Don is being checked for a bacterial infection such as Lyme Disease or Mad Cow. They say that only a bacteria could ravage a body the way this has. A heat stroke would not have done this. Serious prayers needed!!!
I have an unspoken request since it is far too difficult to explain.
Praying that the rest of our adoption is MUCH smoother than the first part!




Wendi(myelijah)- waiting on preapproval. We are out of FC and are in PGN. We will be traveling Oct. 3 thru Oct. 7 to visit our angel baby! Please pray for a safe trip for us and please pray for our 2 year old son who we are going to leave with his Grammy and his big sister

Leigh(emmasmom)-GCBC to come and her very dear friend Beth and her husband who was diagnosed with Pick's Disease, a rare, progressive form of Dementia. She(Beth) has 6 children, ranging from the ages of 4 weeks old to 15 years old.. I would like to ask for prayers for her and her family and also for her strength and for God to give her comfort and peace during this time.

I pray that I can keep faith that God knows what's best for us even though I don't understand it most of the time. Cherie-(cgreen7135)- I am beside myself. We waited out the abandonment, got stuck in FC and have been in PGN for 3 months with 3 kickouts...I just wanted to vent, scream, cry...she is so worth it. I have visited 9 times, but haven't been there since June and really can't go back until the pickup trip. Please pray that we get out this week.

Theresa (mombyfaith) Praying for a MIRACLE. Chloe is 7 mos old today (9/14). Still waiting on ** id and bc to be fixed so we can be resubmitted to pgn. Praying that this is done, we get out of pgn (103 days today), get a speedy gc bc and pink. I want to hold my baby girl!

Beth(begaines)-motehr had previous heart attacks-has to have regular check-ups with her cardiologists. Well, today was her check-up and her heart wasn't beating in rhythm. So, he sent her to the hospital and if her heard doesn't correct itself by morning they are going to have to run a tube down her throat to make sure there are no clots. If no clots are there they will have to shock her heart to try and get it back into rhythm. . The dr. told us in the past that if she had another blockage that we would probably have to do open heart surgery.

MLRJ-Just got an update on the situation for our little girl-It is as i feared- the birthmom is in a coma- the attorneys are trying to figure out what to do-I have to pray that they got a POA for the birthmom early on- I think that may be our only hope.

I cannot believe that we may be on the verge of losing our second referral after all of this. I guess I cannot go there yet- and just have to hold on to hope for now- Please pray for us.

We just received ANOTHER I-72 from the Embassy today. They are now saying DNA has to be done again because the first DNA was done in March and the photos they had requested of our baby on Sept. 1 do not (of course) look like the photos of her taken in late February. Unbelievable!! I have cried all evening! Our own government is the cause of all our delays! Please pray for this to be resolved asap so we can bring Katherine home. We are still traveling to visit her Oct. 1 thru Oct. 7. I am so thrilled to be going to see her but now something else to put a damper on things. Please pray for me because my attitude is very poor right now and I am struggling with my faith. I am feeling a bit down, to say the least.
