HELP!!! Witness statements

On top of all the other lovely headaches with our adoption, I just learned a new one today. Our witness statements -- completed waaaay back in February -- are wrong. Now I need to re-do them.

Gee, you'd think that 8 months would be long enough to LOOK AT THEM and notice you sent me the wrong form, wouldn't you?

So the big question is:

HOW MANY witnesses do I need?

I can no longer remember if it was 2 or 3.

Anyone know?

Melissa

We did 2. Did your agency send you the corrected form? If not I still have one on my computer. This really sucks! I'm sorry you are dealing it. It is maddening when those in charge screw it up, isn't it?

Two is the answer I wanted to hear! Thank you thank you thank you -

We had 3 witnesses lined up during the homestudy/dossier preparation period. What I could not remember today, while running around to get these new ones, is whether it was 3 for the homestudy and 2 for the dossier, or the reverse.

It makes a big difference because apparently we are supposed to submit these new witness statements from the exact SAME witnesses as last time. And wouldn't you know, one of our 3 witnesses is out of the country, so we would be totally scr*wed if we had to have a new one from her.

BTW -- why is she out of the country? She's picking up her new baby in Colombia! I'm so jealous because she started her process two months AFTER we did, and here we are still trapped in PGN.
