Makenzie is three months old now. Here's one of the pictures we got this week.
We got preapproval last week, and are most likely in PGN now, but I wont find out for sure until Monday when my agency gets their next update from the attorney.

I am very very very happy with my referral. The whole community around me is calling and flipping out. This baby won't be spoiled...no. We haven't even talked names, I think my husband is scared because he wants to name her Luisa and I love that name, but I'm not sure it suits her yet. Punkyboo (Kathleen) assures me that it does. I really like Kira (which means sun just like her birth name) We shall see!!!
I just want to say, to DSRMama, and everyone waiting that I am proof that there is always hope. Remember I wasn't supposed to get a referral until December, but sometimes things change. Hang in there and and know I am praying that we all have our babies soon! Hopping along, Nancy

You never know Julie! Even my agency was shocked. Just goes to show in the adoption world no one ever really knows when things will happen. I will pray for you too!!!

Hi angels!
So excited to hear about everyone's progress! All the babies are so adorable and having this forum is so important to me! Overall, I'm doing well! Believe it or not - I am still at #16! The list hasn't even moved for 6 weeks! I would be feeling a lot better if I was seeing at least some movement! I think I may call on Monday just to get some kind of reassurance! Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers! Most days are good and every once in a while I get down!

Dsrmama- are you number 16 on your list for both bos and girls or just girls?? I know how you feel with the list not moving. Our agency was averaging two girl referrals a month until we were number 2! Then one. So when we got to number one we though "it's got to be this month"... nope. Two months later we got a referral.... WELL WORTH THE WAIT! I really hope you hear some good news from your case worker and you have moved up on that list. Hang in there.

Thanks everyone! So far, the wait has not been too bad (been waiting a little over 3 months), but I know as we get closer to 4-5 months, I'll probably start getting more anxious!!!
Work is very busy for me right now, so it helps to pass them time. Laura - praying your referral comes soon as well!!! Looks like we've been waiting about the same time so hopefully they'll both come really soon!
