Considering there's only three more months left for it to be enacted, I don't see it taking place for this year's taxes. Hopefully it'll pass next year though.

Here is the response I received back from Congressman Ford's office.
"On behalf of Congressman Ford, thanks for your message. The bill has not made it out of committee for a floor vote. We are pressuring leadership to bring it to the floor, but they have not yet done so.

As a result, I would encourage you to contact your representative in Congress and ask him or her to co-sponsor the bill. That will help generate momentum necessary to get things moving in Congress. You may also want to ask your friends and colleagues to do the same. Congress tends to act best when pushed by the people, so any attention you can bring to the bill is a good thing.

for the updates. My Congressman sent me back a very nice email and he was a co-sponsor of it, but maybe others here could contact their Congressmen? So, I am bumping this up so others can see it...
