Readoption in Texas - Houston/Harris County
Hey everyone. I need some help with readoption in Texas. I know there have been other posts - but they don't really explain anything for Harris County. If any of you have gone thru the readoption process in Harris County will you let me know what you did & who to contact - I'm getting no where.
Thank you!!!!!

Readoption in Texas
Hi, I live in Texas too and unless you have your heart set on doing your readoption there in Harris County, a lot of people I know, plus myself, use an attorney in Ft.Worth and she is great! You don't have to live in that county to do a readoption there. It is very simple and easy to do with this attorney. There is only one trip to Ft Worth on adoption day at the court house and you can do a name change at the same time if you wish. In about four months, unless you pay to expedite it, you will have your childs new Texas birth certificate. If you are interested just pm me and I will give you her name and number. Hope this helps!
God Bless, Jenny |
