small hurdle, but i'll take it
We found out that we got pre-approval, YEAH!!! I think it was on Friday as my agency got an email from the attorney over the weekend. Now, if we could just find out if we are out of FC.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I think you have to be out of FC to be issued preapproval. I think the family court homestudy is something the embassy needs, too. Things change quickly down there, so I could be off track.

No small hurdle!
No Family Court is indepedent of the preapproval process. It is PGN that needs a copy of the preapproval to review a case. Actually the preapproval is one of the big hurdles.

Jessica, as soon as you are out of Family court, you will go into PGN. I know your agency and attorney and they don't waste time. I hope you hear soon. I was in 3 days after pre approval.

How do you know when you're out of Family Court? I haven't heard about that particular phrase with my agency. We already received the report from the social worker about the birth mother interview - is that what this refers to?
