Unhappy Would like to hear from you if

you got kicked out of PGN because your reviewer wanted more info on your children at home or someone else in your family. We've been asked to submit an addendum to our homestudy and I'm pretty freaked out about it. We are in the process of complying with their terms, but I wonder if you experienced the same thing? Feel free to PM me if you prefer. Thanks!

I have my son home for 4 1/2 months but I do remember my agy sending out an email to all GUA parents early this year that PGN was asking for additional info on all children in home -- they wanted full length birth certificates instead of the short forms that most parents got from their state offices and other stuff. I don't think it was too big of a deal just a pain because it delayed approval that much longer. My husband's children didn't live with us so we didn't have to worry about it, but I do remember that the agy said it was a new thing they were asking.

It is one of those things you have to take in stride because it is out of your control.

I had 4 children at home when we adopted our daughter last year from Guatemala. I got kicked out for a medical report on each child...even though we had one in the Home Study. I too was "freaked out" about it but after I complied and turn them in we were out. The whole process took about one month from the kick out. So get busy and hopefully this will be it!!

Good Luck,

Brie

Other children!

Good grief - something else for me to worry about! We have been in PGN going on 8 weeks with no news. We did not have I171h or passport copies authenticated and had no medical info or birth certs for our other children in our dossier - not something that has ever been mentioned - oh my - if I need to get 7 medical reports and 7 birth certs authenticated - this could take a very long time!!!!!

Please PGN - take pity on me and let me out!!!!!

Thanks to those who responded. It's not birth certificates or medicals or letters of support that the reviewer wants.

Bumping this for myself. Anyone else?
