I am so sorry that this has happened to you, I understand how you feel as we lost our first little girl after 3 months. It was a very sad and painful time, I still think of her often and wonder if she's being taken care of properly. But I can tell you that after you allow yourself to grieve and you accept a new referral the pain will slowly be replaced by the love and joy you have for your new little one.
Once we were able to go visit our new referral we knew that she was the right one for our family. I truely believe the the child that is meant to be part of your family will come to you. Good luck.

I am so sorry for your loss. We too experienced the pain and grief of losing referrals. Your almost daughter will always hold a special place in your heart. In time, it's true the pain will ease and you will come to realize that the child(ren) you are blessed with will be the one(s) who were yours all along. None of that probably matters much to you right now, as I know those words seemed so empty to me at the time of our losses. Just know that you are not alone in your pain. There is a child out there who needs you and who was meant just for you. Be kind to yourself, let yourself feel sorrow over your loss. It is a real loss. ~hugs~ Kim
