Hello? Anyone home?
Is the head of PGN on vacation this week?
This is nuts, there is no movement. At least we have BC and preapproval movement... Anyone know whats going on with PGN?

I have no idea but I'm praying that you and all the others waiting in PGN get out soon!

Well, I think they worked really hard all week and because of that, there's going to be a HUGE NUMBER OF OUTS next week. So hold on to your hats everybody! We're gonna be celebrating a lot next week.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Every week I am so optimistic that this is the week for me but I'm almost afraid to be at this point. It seems like there are a few scenarios...
One, there is at least one speedy reviewer who seems to get cases out in days vs. weeks. To my knowledge, some people wait longer for a sign off than this reviewer takes for the whole thing including the sign off. Then, there is a two-three months stay w/one or two KOs. I hope at this point that this is where I fall. Three, there seems to be at least one reviewer playing by the old rules. Cases seem to sit on his/her desk for no reason for endless amounts of time. There is a string of KO's, mostly erroneous, some even for things that were previously fixed. It seems clear that this type of reviewer is on a power trip and/or doesn't really believe in IA. I know overall the Guatemala program is one of the best for adopting a younger, healthy infant. But, this completely random aspect of it has me very frustrated at this point. I know it may fade away when it is over and I know my timeline isn't really that bad at this point, but at this point I can also see why people are drawn to a more predictable program like China where once you know who your referral is, your wait is X number of weeks and that's it. Sorry to vent so much. I know what God wants is that I keep hoping and have faith. I know my son deserves that. I will pray for everyone waiting for resolution this weekend, whether it is PGN, PAW, or something else. The waiting is truly a tough test.

I second that. This waiting is very painful. After our stint in PAW Investigation I am even to afraid to put myself on the PGN waiters list, I just can't bear the thought of being at the top the way I was on PAW list, silly I know but .... We just want our lovely babies home.
