We have our GC BC!!
Found out today that we have our notorious GC BC! Waiting for PINK to travel. Agency said they need to get a passport and pink. Is it common to have to get the passport after the BC? Just elated to have GC BC. Need to travel soon as school starts soon and want to have as much time with Sophia as possible!

Congratulations!!!! You give hope to all of the rest of us who are waiting.
Yes, you have to wait until after you get the BC to get the passport -- the BC is required in order for the passport to be issued and it can't be issued sooner because it must have your child's new last name on it.  Devora

I believe passport is SUPPOSED to come in 3 days, pink in 2 days. But, like everything else in Guatemalan adoption, seems to be variable!
