Hello, Just wondering what kind of gifts I should get the Foster Parent?

I am a long ways off from this but I am just gonna give a card in spanish and cash. Well thats my plan anyways

I was lucky enough to find out that Nathan's foster mother lived with her mother and 6 year old sister. I brought gifts for each of them.

For the 6 year old, I brought a doll, coloring book and crayons, nail polish kit and a jump rope.

For the mother, I brought gold earrings, body lotions and powder and new towels.

For the foster mother, I brought a makeup kit (she wore lots of makeup in each of the pictures I got), a gold locket with my son's picture, a framed photo of the two of them together and cash.

Check with your agency and see if they can offer any information about the family your child is with. They may also have guidelines for gift giving which you may need to follow.
