All,

We brought our beautiful 11-month old son home just over a week ago.

I just wanted to share how wonderful his foster family was. We invited them to lunch with us to get to know them a bit, and they are just amazing people. Their love for our son was quite clear, and they took such wonderful care of him. He has had no trouble adjusting to us at all, which I think is in large part to the loving care he received from Shirley and her kids. We plan to stay in touch via email.

So Shirley: Thank you for starting our son out as a happy, loving little boy. We cannot thank you enough.

I must say that the foster mom must have really taken good care of him because he was such a happy fellow when we saw him each and every time. I am glad that I was able to meet you guys.

I hope everything is going well since you are back home.

Abby is much better. She is 100% mommys girl now. She wouldn't even let her daddy touch her until about the 3rd day. Then, he could sit next to her. Then about the 4th day he could hold her as long as I was in the room. Then I believe about a day or so later I could finally leave the room. But, if any stranger is in our house I cannot leave her. She has attached herself to me. But, I am not complaining. I am loving it. She is such a happy baby now that she has adjusted somewhat.

Again, I am so glad that we were able to meet.

Hi!

I am so glad to hear you made it home safely! I agree with Beth - your little guy is adorable and always SO happy! You know we had such a good time playing with him in the lobby.

Emma has done great since we've been home - so happy and easygoing! I am glad to hear that Beth has settled in with Abby as well. She is such a cutie too! I am so glad we finally got our sweet babies home!

It was WONDERFUL meeting you both and I'm so glad to hear that things are going smoothly now.

Beth-I just knew Abby would be your girl, and I'm so happy for you! She is gorgeous. I'm sure her aunt is just spoiling her to death as well (tell her we said hello!). I'm glad she's bonding with Daddy too...you knew it was just a matter of time!

Kelli, it was wonderful meeting you and your family, you are all such amazing people-Emma will have such a terrific family to grow up with!

Pablo remains happy as ever-he loves going in the pool, which is good because it's about 111 here today!!
