Hi - I'm just starting the process of adopting from Guatemela and was hoping to find someone close by that I could pick up the phone and talk to for support whenever needed. I live in Orange Park, Florida just outside of Jacksonville. The forum has been a great source of info and support and it's very inspirational. Anyone out there close by that is in the process of or has adopted so far? Thanks so much.

We adopted two little girls from Guatemala, both home in October of last year. Our baby was almost five months old and our toddler was 18 months old at homecoming. Welcome to the forum, let me know how I can support you.

We have a daughter and a son adopted from Guatemala. Our daughter was referred at birth and home at five months and our son was referred at two months and home at seven months.
