home, home, home!
Just a quick hello and to let you know that another beautiful Guatemalan baby is now at home. My mother-in-law traveled with me while DH stayed home with our menagerie and worked on the last details at home.
We ask so much of our little ones - leaving their foster moms, going through the embassy appt, and then flying home. Our darling Jesse was a trooper despite teething and diarrhea (if you were on Delta 914 to Atlanta this past Wednesday, we were the ones walking up and down the aisle and blocking everybody's view of the movie). I can't begin to explain my emotions and feelings, but if any of you have doubts about this all being worth it, IT IS!!! Every painful step, every setback, etc. Our process was long (9-1/2 months) with an embassy investigation smack dab in the middle and little in the way of pictures and medical updates, and every piece of it is worth the intense, fierce joy I'm experiencing about the little boy sleeping in the room next to me right now. I'm trying to get caught up on the forum. I know there's been great news since I last signed on...Rosenfeldwest and BebitosMama getting out of PGN, Alesanto getting pink, Nina03 coming home, Desilu's Jacob improving, and so many, many more that I can't recall them all - HAPPY HAPPY to all. A special "howdy" to audrey'smom - it was great meeting you and your beautiful little girl!!!

I am so thrilled to see that you and Jesse are home now! I remember the feeling that "Luke is in my house now right down the hall in his crib"... It didn't even seem real! It's amazing how resilient these children are, after all they go through in such a short period of time! Take care and enjoy your baby... can't wait to see pictures of Jesse! Welcome home! Judy
