hi everyone, i got my birth certificate today, and i can't travel till june 19-22 because i'll be out of town . but i booked my flight and my hotel at the marriott. i paid 95.00 per night for the deluxe room which includes breakfast. does that sound about what every one else is paying? hopefully i'll see some of you down there at that time. if anyone is traveling then , let me know. thanks

We stayed in a deluxe room back in December and we paid $85.00 per night. There could have been a pre-holiday discount? I'm sure, as with all hotels, that there are different prices at different times of the year.

We paid 105 a night with no breakfast and they would not come down on price. This time frame was Guatemala holiday I think you got a good deal. Have a nice trip

85 a night with breakfast every morning included. Not sure if we had a deluxe room though.. I thought we had a standard room??
We used AAA and got the discount (from 105 a night)

Where was the b/c issued from? It must be so hard to have to wait until June 19th to pick up your baby now that you have the birth certificate.

We stayed at the Marriott in March, 2005 and paid $85 during the week, and $75 on the weekend (this was the AAA rate). The rate included breakfast and airport shuttle. I booked through the Marriott 800 number and they originally gave me $105 during the week and $85 on the weekend, no breakfast. I saw a post on the Big List abount the $85/$75 rate with breakfast and shuttle so I called them back and told them I wanted to change to the AAA rate and they did it no problem. I we loved every aspect of the Hotel and hope to be going back shortly (?). We've been in PGN since April 15, with no news to date. I pray daily (many times a day) that the PGN and CR of Guatemala City that we've heard so much about begins to fulfill all of our dreams.

Get a Marriott rewards card (you can do it online) show your card in the restaurant and pay for your meal - you will receive a 20% discount everytime. If nothing else this will cover the tip.
