Here is my timeline. I also had Christmas and New Years in there. I wil say it was the longest wait of all the little waits in the process. Try not to think about when you will get out but when will be your fist K.O. and then your second ect. That way you will be suprised when you get out. Good luck!!!!

Great post. I have been told that as a single male, to expect a long time in PGN, whatever that means. But I know many single woman who were in for only a month. I also know one single male who was in for only one month. I am praying that I am in for only a month. I would like to keep a list of the singles and I can average it out for folks if they are interested. Keep these posts coming and I will make up a chart for single PGNers.

Good advice jt! I have so many little jobs to do (painting furniture now, then I have to paint his room, then buy a couch for the living room) - keeps me focused on that rather than how long before he is home.


Mom4Nicholas - I'm not too far ahead of you, because I went back in with preapproval the day before you went in. Maybe we'll travel at the same time?! :-) Good luck to you!

Good post Mom4Nicholas. Thanks for volunteering to keep the chart Steve. I've been in 86 days...I had one KO.

It'll be interesting to see. I haven't gotten the feeling that the wait is longer for singles. I think that there are other factors that make the wait longer that we have no real way of tracking...agency, attorney, PGN reviewer, etc. I would actually volunteer to collect all of that data if I thought that people would PM me with it. I would then make it available to whoever wanted it. It would be info that gets collected after the Protocolo is issued. I'll have to think a bit more about how to do it.

Anyway, this is a start.

I am in my 9th or 10th week. But I have some single friends that got out in about 5 weeks. They both went this month for their pick up trip.

I think it is really the luck of the draw - I was submitted to PGN last November and was out in days - but of course my agency didn't notify me right away and I didn't find out until about 3 weeks later when the Bmom had already signed off and the new BC had already been issued. I was lucky and was able to travel the following week.

I hope those of you still waiting won't be waiting much longer!!!

I was in PGN fro about a month last summer. Don't know the exact number of days. My pre-app was picked up last week of July, PGN director signed off on my case last week of August.
