it would be fun to have a group of paper readys, but the referrals come up soo fast, in some cases,
so,
it can be waiting for I171 , who have every thing sent in to immig, fingerprints, home study, etc... and paper ready, dossier to agency.

and are waiting for a referral.

because this waiting period is also quite crazy.
because you have been waiting and there is no referral yet,

Very good idea Jill. Count me in. I think we are about the same place in the process. We could set up a yahoo group to make it easier to keep track of everyone. Or what other idea did you have?

We have everything sent to USCIS as of 5/9 and are waiting on the I171H - our docs are at state capital and should be back this week - then to Chicago and then to agency. This should describe me by next week - I'd love to be a part! We won't be on a referral list until our I171H gets to agency and are requesting a girl - so we have quite a wait ahead of us!

Count me in! Our homestudy was sent to USCIS on 5/19 and we are officially waiting for our I171H. Our dossier has been authenticated by the Guatemala Consulate and sent for translation. I'm soooo ready for a referral. I already check my email 4 milliion times a day and I can't imagine it getting any worse....but I'm sure it will!

In about a week, I should be at the point you described. We cannot get on referral list until we have the I171H - and are requesting a girl -so we have a wait ahead of us - I could use all the support I could get!

Count me in. We are currently waiting on our 171-H (should be here this week or next since Atlanta is so fast) and our paperwork should be back from being Great Sealed and Authenticated around the same time. We are also requesting a girl so our wait could be rather long.

We have had a referral for almost three months now and I am afraid we will lose her if the INS doesn't get their act together!! I am so sad today.

We have the dossier in Guatemala with the attorney, the POA is done, the agency and the attorney are waiting, and USCIS has everything they need from us. Our homestudy was reviewed three weeks ago as the reviewer called here to ask us to clarify something and he said he was done and we just needed our FP's and if they were sent back to USCIS by May 20th (FBI says they were), then our I171-H would be here THIS week (May 23rd) - then I call USCIS and they said my husband's prints came through their system but mine did not yet - I called the FBI to ask again, the FBI said they sure did send mine as well as my husband's...USCIS is waiting for mine and the FBI said they won't resend w/out someone from USCIS calling and requesting, I cannot get a hold of USCIS as I get the infamous busy signal - I made it through yesterday once (that was a miracle, truly), also USCIS didn't even know we not only turned our HS in 7 weeks ago, and it was reviewed three weeks ago as the reviewer called here, but she said our HS would need to be reviewed after my prints came through ?????? HUH?????? I told her, "NO, it IS there and it WAS reviewed"...she said, "OH"...URGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG - COME ON USCIS.

I am sad...
