Many of us have heard that the next season of the hit show Survivor is set in Guatemala. But what many don't know is that, unlike previous editions of the top-rated show where the "survivors" were forced to live in primitive conditions, forage and hunt for food, build their own shelter, and battle the elements, this new season --Survivor: Guatemala-- will feature 20 strangers from different walks of life, broken into two tribes, Los Westines, and Las Marriotistas. Each team member will battle his or her way through the nerve-wracking and mind-boggling endurance test known as adoption in Guatemala, in order to be a Survivor and achieve the ultimate objective: bringing home a much-wanted child.
Featuring your host, the former head of PGN, Señor Merida, experienced veteran of the Guatemalan adoption scene, Survivor: Guatemala will offer 14 episodes of nail-biting, edge of your seat excitement as parents struggle to overcome impossible odds to bring their beloved children home. Watch for exciting Reward Challenges, including Episode 2, where contestants attempt to flawlessly produce, sign, notarize, county certify, state certify, and get Guatemalan embassy approval for 296 different pieces of papers that all must spell their names correctly 43 different ways. The Reward? 5 less days in US Embassy Pre-approval! In Episode 5's Immunity Challenge, contestants will tackle an obstacle course, which involves attempting to fit a porta-crib, a Crazy Coupe car, 4 super-size packs of disposable diapers, 18 onesies, and a complete set of Duplo building blocks into a suitcase that fits in the overhead compartment of a TACA jet, and then will be forced to sit on top of that suitcase, as it's strapped to the back of a chicken bus hurtling through Guatemala City during rush hour. Or Episode 4's Reward Challenge, where contestants dispatch emails, make phone calls, and send faxes to their adoption agencies, in an attempt to find out the status of their case. Watch as contestants beg, wheedle, cajole, cry, threaten, and pull every skill they have to use in attempting to elicit some sort of information or response! The Reward? A set of recent photos of their baby, along with a medical update! Episode 8's Immunity Challenge involves figuring out how many creative and unique ways John Smith can possibly be spelled on a Guatemalan name affadavit... Hint...the record by a previous Survivor was 117! Tribal Councils will be overseen by the charismatic and enigmatic Señor Merida, who, recently out of a job, is now making his career in television, assisted of course by his beloved wife, as well as sister-in-law Ximena, brother Juan Carlos, cousin Paco, niece Anna Luisa, and next door neighbor Señor Rodrigo Del Huerto. Señor Merida's role at Tribal Council will be to periodically change all the rules of Survivor: Guatemala in order to keep the program lively and interesting. Don't miss episode 8's Tribal Council, where Señor Merida determines that all of BebitosMama's PGN review paperwork will be shredded and sacrificed into the Volcano de Agua, forcing her to start over again in PGN. Or Episode 11's Tribal Council, where survivors Rosenfeldwest, Hannah'sParent and Princesa'sMama each attempts to follow the hidden clues, written in ancient Mayan hieroglyphs imprinted onto tortillas, to determine where in the vast PGN complex their long-lost files are actually hidden. Special guests will be featured periodically, to host special Reward Challenges and Immunity Competitions. Look for special appearances from past Survivors including Cody and Kristina Mummau, Lovelivvy, Dixiemom, and DianaPrince! So, set those Tivos, mark those calendars, and don't miss even a single episode of Survivor: Guatemala!! Coming this September! |

I want a TSHIRT with that logo...is there a store on this forum....Super entertaining and so true.
If we make it an all star/previous winner thing, Rob Amber Richard etc would all crack under the pressure and breakdown into tears and pray to be in the jungle somewhere rather than have to go through this torture....

Until I read the posts at the bottom, I thought you were serious! WE could get a t shirt with this logo. All you have to do is e-mail the artwork to a t-shirt design company. My sister does it! That would be cool to have at a picnic or GAFE. Seriously. Doretta
