How to extended stay with child
I am just at the stage of choosing an agency and was wondering if anyone could advise on the prospect of spending time in Guatemala while the process is underway. I happen to travel frequently to Guatemala and feel it makes sense to be there for extra time with the child while the adoption makes its way along. Also I have a dear Guatemalan friend in Antigua who might be willing to foster the child. Does anyone have info on this and/or know agencies who support it as an option?

I don't have any suggestions for agencies other than if this is very important to you this needs to be something that you ask the agencies upfront. Some might be more open to this than others.
